Hunger: Father of 5 arrested for stealing plantain

A father-of-five has been arrested after stealing a bunch of unripe plantain in Afaha Atai, Akwa Ibom State.

It was kind of a funny scene, when a man was arrested for stealing a bunch of unripe plantain in Akwa Ibom state.

The father of five identified as Victor Okon, was caught and handed over to the police in Afaha Atai, Akwa Ibom state.

Mr Okon was pictured in handcuffs being carted away in a police van as well as the stolen plantain which was tied to what seems to be his motorcycle.

Hmm... the situation of the country is really taking its toll on its citizen.

Okon who is married and has seven mouths to feed, including himself, is just one out of many.
